The Ladder

Better to be ignorant and keep it to yourself, than to open your mouth and prove it!

Follow your heart!
But take your brain with you!

Picture in your mind a tall ladder leaning against a wall.

Now think about your life as the process of climbing that ladder.

Wouldn't it be a tragedy to get to the top and find that you had placed the ladder against the wrong wall?

You had one life to live and you missed it.

As I walked around Las Vegas this last week, it broke my heart to see so many people with their ladders leaning against the wrong wall—thinking that the things of this world would somehow get them to the top. So sad!

If they only knew that a love relationship with God is the single most important thing in life.

The Bible teaches us that God is saying, "I want you to love me above everything else."

Are you obsessed with the things of this world or with God?

It's a simple question, so how do you answer it?

Can you say I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold?

Which wall is your ladder leaning on?

You may ask how do I know if my ladder is properly placed?

Here is how Jesus answered the question;

Matthew 16: 24-26

24 Then Jesus said to his followers, “If people want to follow me, they must give up the things they want. They must be willing even to give up their lives to follow me. 25 Those who want to save their lives will give up true life, and those who give up their lives for me will have true life. 26 It is worthless to have the whole world if they lose their souls. They could never pay enough to buy back their souls.

...So, what say you?

Go give em Heaven,

I love you all!
