Kindness is a Language the Blind can See and the Deaf can Hear.
Sometimes God uses wrong choices, to get us to the right places.
Have you ever prayed for one thing and received another?
For instance, you pray something like, “ Father, please just let me get the job.”
And it is just a job and not that great but instead, He gives you the job of your dreams!
Or, “God please, let Cameez succeed in Frisco.”
And He says “Trust me I have a better plan for it in Dillon.”
During one of these experiences, I was reading from Mark, chapter 2.
Here we find the account of four men who brought their crippled friend to Jesus to be healed.
There was a large crowd so they opened a hole in the roof of the house and let the man down in front of Jesus.
Jesus said "Son, your sins are forgiven.”
As I read on, the Spirit of God said, "Did you see what I did there?"
I went back and thought about that scripture again.
I discovered a wonderful truth: these four men asked Jesus to provide physical healing for their friend.
However Jesus forgave the man's sins!
They asked for one thing, and Jesus gave them something else!
This man and his friends asked for a temporary gift, but Jesus gave the man an eternal gift by making him a child of God for eternity.
What they thought was the best gift they could receive; Jesus had infinitely more in mind.
I am reminded again that His thoughts are not our thoughts and his ways are not our ways--Isaiah 55:8-9.
When you pray, allow Him to be God.
Trust Him. He always has your very best in mind.
Scripture tells us,
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
1 Cor. 2:9
Many times in my life, I have found myself broken before God saying, "God I have asked you for one thing and you have given me more than I could have ever dreamed or asked. So, would you please cancel my previous request?”
I love you all.
Go give em Heaven,
